Out-of-Network Explanation

If you have an out-of-network benefit or PPO insurance plan you will be able to get reimbursed retroactively for seeing Dr. Fagerson. Note, however, that SOS-PT is not directly contracted with any insurance company for the purpose of being able to provide quality, often time intensive, one-on-one treatment frequently involving hands-on soft tissue and joint work, exercise prescription, and education.
Considerations

In order to provide high quality one-on-one treatment, SOSPT, Inc. maintains a point-of-service payment policy for which you will need to make these considerations:

1. You have an out-of-network insurance benefit (eg, a PPO plan) which will reimburse you.
2. You are looking for top notch treatment and are willing to pay privately (as you might for massage therapy or personal training).

3. You have exhausted your Physical Therapy benefit elsewhere but are still looking for an answer and would, at least, like a Consultation for Dr. Fagerson’s assessment & advice.
4. Many insurance plans allow you to apply seeing an out-of-network provider towards meeting your deductible. Or if you have a Health Savings Account you should be able to utilize it.
