TIMOTHY L. FAGERSON, DPT

Dr. Tim Fagerson has 30 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy including private practice (outpatient), sports teams (West of Scotland Rugby Club, Scotland U16 Football, Scotland U18 Rugby), and hospital settings (Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Massachusetts General Hospital).

Tim came to Boston in 1990 following his Physiotherapy education and early working years in Glasgow, Scotland. He obtained advanced training in Orthopaedic-Sports PT through MGH Institute of Health Professions and from extensive continuing education courses.

In addition to his clinical practice Tim also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the MGH IHP Graduate Programs in Physical Therapy, Boston, MA. He has authored The Hip Handbook, several book chapters, monographs and research papers.

As the name of his practice (SOS-PT) reflects, the focus of Tim’s work is to help (SOS) through Physical Therapy (PT) people with problems in the areas of his expertise: Spine, Orthopaedic, and Sports injury (SOS).

Tim has practiced in Wellesley, Massachusetts since 1998: for 7 years in practice at Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Services, Inc. (OPTS) with Daniel Dyrek, DPT and since 2005 in his own practice: SOSPT, Inc (Spine-Orthopaedic-Sport Physical Therapy).


Dr. Fagerson treats all types of musculoskeletal problem in all regions of the body and is often consulted to solve the "challenging case!"
